- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup fresh blueberries
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 2 large eggs
- 1 cup milk
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a loaf pan.
- Mix flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt in a bowl.
- In a separate bowl, beat eggs, milk, melted butter, and vanilla.
- Combine wet and dry ingredients until just mixed.
- Gently fold in blueberries.
- Spread half of the batter in the pan, add dollops of cream cheese, then top with remaining batter.
- Bake for 55-60 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.
Notes
- Stir blueberries gently to avoid breaking them.
- Allow bread to cool before slicing.
