Ingredients

Instructions

  1. Season beef with salt and pepper. Sear in hot oil until browned on all sides. Let cool.
  2. Cook mushrooms, shallots, and garlic in butter until moisture evaporates to form duxelles. Cool.
  3. Spread mushroom mixture over beef, then wrap with puff pastry, sealing edges.
  4. Brush with egg wash, cut slits for steam release. Bake at 400°F for 25-30 minutes until golden.
