Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon.
- In a separate large bowl, beat butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until creamy.
- Beat in egg, vanilla, then gradually add dry ingredients until combined. Mix in milk.
- Drop spoonfuls of dough onto the prepared baking sheets, about 2 inches apart.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes until golden around edges.
- Allow cookies to cool slightly, then whisk powdered sugar with milk to make glaze.
- Drizzle glaze over warm cookies before serving.
Notes
- For a richer flavor, add a pinch of nutmeg or ginger to the dough.
