Ingredients

  • 4 large sweet potatoes, peeled and cubed
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 cup mini marshmallows
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Boil sweet potatoes until tender, about 15 minutes. Drain and mash in a large bowl.
  3. Add melted butter, brown sugar, milk, vanilla, and salt to the mashed sweet potatoes and mix until smooth.
  4. Transfer the mixture to a baking dish and spread evenly.
  5. Sprinkle mini marshmallows and chopped pecans on top.
  6. Bake for 20-25 minutes until marshmallows are golden and toasted.
