- 1 large hoagie roll or baguette
- 1/2 pound deli sliced turkey or chicken
- 1/2 cup shredded lettuce
- 1/4 cup sliced tomatoes
- 1/4 cup sliced pickles
- 2 slices provolone or mozzarella cheese
- 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
- 1 tablespoon mustard
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Slice the hoagie roll in half lengthwise.
- Spread mayonnaise on the bottom half, and mustard on the top.
- Layer the deli meats, cheese, tomatoes, lettuce, and pickles inside.
- Season with salt and pepper.
- Close the sandwich and cut into manageable portions. Serve immediately.
