- 1 cup (226g) unsalted butter
- 2 cups (350g) semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 3 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 1/2 cups (180g) all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup (50g) cocoa powder
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
- In a microwave-safe bowl, melt butter and chocolate chips until smooth. Let cool slightly.
- In a large bowl, whisk eggs and vanilla. Add cooled chocolate mixture and mix well.
- In a separate bowl, whisk flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt. Gradually fold into wet ingredients.
- Drop spoonfuls of batter onto prepared baking sheets, about 2 inches apart.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes until the edges are set but the centers are soft.
- Allow cookies to cool on the sheets for 5 minutes before transferring to wire racks.
Notes
- For extra richness, add chocolate chunks to the batter.
- Store cookies in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
