- Oil for frying
Instructions
- Preheat oil in a deep skillet over medium heat.
- Warm tortillas to make them pliable.
- Mix shredded meat with chili powder, cumin, garlic powder, and paprika.
- Place a spoonful of meat and cheese in the center of each tortilla.
- Roll tortillas tightly to form taquitos.
- Fry in hot oil until golden and crispy, about 2-3 minutes per side.
- Drain on paper towels and serve topped with cilantro and salsa.
