Ingredients

  • 1 pound thinly sliced beef (sirloin or flank steak)
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 1 bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 carrot, julienned
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil

Instructions

  1. Mix beef with cornstarch and set aside.
  2. Heat vegetable oil in a wok or large skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Add beef and stir-fry until browned, about 3-4 minutes. Remove from pan.
  4. In the same pan, add garlic and vegetables; stir-fry until crisp-tender, about 2-3 minutes.
  5. Return beef to the pan, add soy sauce, oyster sauce, and sesame oil; stir well and cook for another 2 minutes.
  6. Serve hot over steamed rice or noodles.

Notes
