- 1 pound thinly sliced beef (sirloin or flank steak)
- 2 cups broccoli florets
- 1 bell pepper, sliced
- 1 carrot, julienned
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 1 teaspoon cornstarch
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
Instructions
- Mix beef with cornstarch and set aside.
- Heat vegetable oil in a wok or large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add beef and stir-fry until browned, about 3-4 minutes. Remove from pan.
- In the same pan, add garlic and vegetables; stir-fry until crisp-tender, about 2-3 minutes.
- Return beef to the pan, add soy sauce, oyster sauce, and sesame oil; stir well and cook for another 2 minutes.
- Serve hot over steamed rice or noodles.
Notes
- You can substitute the vegetables with snap peas, mushrooms, or zucchini.
- Marinate the beef with a little soy sauce for extra flavor if desired.
