- 8 oz (225g) egg noodles
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 lb (450g) chicken breast, sliced into strips
- 3 tbsp soy sauce
- 2 tbsp honey or brown sugar
- 1 tbsp rice vinegar
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- Chopped green onions and sesame seeds for garnish
Instructions
- Cook the noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add chicken slices and cook until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.
- Add minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Stir in soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, and sesame oil. Cook for 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
- Add cooked noodles to the skillet and toss to coat evenly with the sauce.
- Garnish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds. Serve hot.
Notes
- You can substitute chicken with tofu or shrimp for variation.
- Adjust the sweetness and salty flavor by modifying the honey and soy sauce quantities.
